Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) offer students the chance to conduct hands-on computing research at a university, helping those considering graduate school understand the research process and strengthen their applications.

Computing students can find research projects related to computer science education, accessibility, AI/ML, computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, fabrication, and human-computer interaction.

Students are paid a stipend and participate in professional development activities throughout the summer. Funding for housing and/or travel expenses may be available for students placed in REUs.

At the moment, AccessComputing does not have our own REU funding.  We recommend that students apply to the Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) program.
