Children's Defense Fund California awards $10,000 to five high school freshman overcoming tremendous adversity, in addition to college preparation and career development counseling and mentoring.
Eligibility
High school freshmen who live or attend school in the greater Los Angeles area planning to attend a postsecondary institution.
