There are many misconceptions about psychiatric disease: what causes it, who is at risk, and how it manifests. Increasingly, we are understanding how common these misconceptions are in academia. In this seminar and facilitated discussion, tailored for Academics, participants will learn more about prevalence of mental health illness in general and in academic populations, & get an overview of signs and symptoms, highlighting those seen in academic settings.
